| Activity Weeks |
| |
| Each year an activity week is organised whereby volunteers come to the schools and organise various activities for the children. Past activities have included: learning about Malawi, making masks, playing football, netball, rounders, performing dance routines and learning songs. |

The sport malawi team activity week |
| |
| The activity weeks are all about suiting the needs of the volunteers - they can choose which age group they would like to work with, what hours are best for them, and what they are happiest to do. Both the volunteers and children involved always end up having a great time. |

| Volunteers August 2010 |
| In August two volunteers from England, Oliver Ilott and Emily Hickson, came to volunteer at Mbabzi School for two weeks. They stayed with one of the teachers for the duration of their time and taught lessons during the day. This is what Oliver had to say about the experience:

| “The children were a pleasure to teach English to in the mornings and play sport with in the afternoons. Our host family looked after us extraordinarily well, cooking us traditional meals and giving us a home away from home. We left having made great friends and knowing we would feel the connection to Mbabzi and Malawi for the rest of our lives” |
