| Starting Links |
| The aim of the Link program is to provide a long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationship between one of the schools at Mbabzi with a school overseas, although link programs can also be organised for church groups, friendship groups or companies. Aside from providing the chance to hold fundraising events and raise money for one of the Mbabzi schools, the link also offers a penpal exchange program in which the children from both schools write to each other. This program has proved to be very successful in the past, enabling both sets of children to learn about a different culture and broaden their horizons. |

Rosary Catholic School Fundraising |
| |
| The link program gives schools abroad the opportunity to take an active role in ideas towards new projects and the allocation of funds at Mbabzi, giving those involved a valuable insight into working with a development project in Africa. Schools are able to follow the progress of their donations, through frequent update reports and photos of where their money has gone. Finally, the link offers trips to those who are interested in visiting Malawi/the schools. |

Mbabzi children with gifts donated by Rosary Catholic School |
| The MSP’s longest link is with the Rosary Catholic School in Middlesex. Since 2006, the children and staff at Rosary have held fundraising events on an at least annual basis. They have donated substantial amount of stationary towards the school, and their donations have helped pay for desks, sports uniforms, and the new classroom that is being built. Each year two Year 5 classes have been involved in the penpal program, with the children from writing to each other four or five times a year. |

| New Link with St James C of E Primary School, Harlow |
We have formed a new penpal exchange programme between the Standard 4 and 5 of children Mbabzi School and the Year 5 children at St James Church of England Primary School in Harlow, Essex. We are hoping this is the start of a long-lasting friendship between the two schools. |
